What has been your biggest struggle in nursing? 

I’d definitely say switching careers within nursing! Nursing has such a huge variety of opportunities. Starting as a telemetry nurse and going to the Emergency department or even transitioning into advance practice nursing, nothing is ever the same. Sure some of my basic knowledge and skills make my learning experiences a little easier, but I always remember that there is soooo much more to learn within nursing and to never limit yourself.

What are your current goals? 

My current career goals are to continue working as an APRN but also getting involved more! There are so many organizations, continuing education courses, and other opportunities out here for healthcare professionals. We just have to be willing to be apart of it all! I’d also love to do some missionary nursing in the future. 😊
